In late 2019, BWRE acquired a major development site in the town of Boadilla del Monte to develop more than 100,000 sqm of Build-to-rent and mixed-use development. The site is located in the heart of the affluent northwest corridor next to the Puerta del Hierro hospital, a major golf course, the Equinnocio retail / leisure park and at the entrance of the Las Lomas gated community.
BWRE is working with the town of Boadilla to address areas needs given the lack of rental properties for young people and services for the elderly.
BWRE has been a pioneer in applying residential rental concepts in the Madrid Urban Core. Inspired by places like Downtown NYC or East London, we invested in residential rental when the market focused on condo sales. Our experience in student residence, co-living, short, long-term and hybrid stays.
